- Live radio stations play without an account. On-demand playback, library favourites and resume position require a (free) VRT account.
- Radio listen-back episodes expose the songs played during the show as chapters, visible in the Now Playing view.
- Your VRT “Mijn lijst” favourites are synced to the Music Assistant library as podcasts, and adding or removing a podcast in Music Assistant is written back to VRT.
- Playback progress is read from and written back to your VRT account, so you can continue an episode across devices.
- The provider supports multiple instances, so each member of a household can connect their own VRT account.
Add the provider from Settings → Music sources. Leave the username and password empty to use live radio only, or enter your VRT account credentials to unlock on-demand playback, favourites and resume.
To connect more than one VRT account, add the provider again as a separate instance.
