FIP

Music Assistant has support for FIP which allows easy addition of its radio stations to Music Assistant. Contributed and maintained by Matthias

FIP is the music station of Radio France, the French public broadcaster, known for its eclectic mix of jazz, rock, world, electronic and chanson without advertising. Alongside the main station it runs twelve webradios, each dedicated to one style, from FIP Jazz and FIP Groove to FIP Metal and FIP Sacré français !

This source adds FIP and its twelve webradios to Music Assistant as radio stations. You would use this provider over another if you want the title, artist and cover art of each song, and the name and picture of the programme during FIP’s live shows. FIP’s own streams carry no song information.

Known Issues / Notes

• The song details usually change with the music, but occasionally a delay of up to 40 seconds will be seen
• When a station has no song or programme to report, the station name and picture are shown instead
